Mr. Maurice Bru

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Mr. Maurice Bru at Battleford District Care Centre with family by his side on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at the age of 79 years.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. held at the Meota Community Complex with Rev. Father Barry Tkachuk as celebrant.  A Private Family Interment will be held at a later date.

Maurice is lovingly remembered and survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Florence Bru (nee DuBois); his daughter, Sherry Doom her sons: Kyle and Shaun; brother, Gilles Bru (Eileen); stepbrother, Irvin McDonell; sister-in-law, Annette Arcand and children: Michelle (Steve), Danny, Nicole (Mark) and numerous great nieces and cousins.

He is predeceased by his parents: George and Monique (St. Amant) Bru; stepmothers: Rita (McDonnel) Bru and Joan; father and mother-in-law: Arthur and Marie-Reine DuBois.
