Mr. Lawrence Henry Parker

Lawrence Henry Parker, born on September 2, 1932, in Battleford, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2024 at home. He was the beloved son of the late George and Anna Rose Parker.
Lawrence was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Joan; his brothers, William, Clarence, Hugh, Douglas, Alfred, and Lloyd; and his sisters, Mabel and Gladys.
On October 16, 1959, Lawrence married the love of his life, Harriet Trotchie. Together, they raised six children: Darrell (Shirley), Kelly, Gwen (Tim), Gail, Brendon (Marcia), and Brandie (Tim). He was a devoted father and husband, dedicating his life to his family and working tirelessly to provide for them.
He will be fondly remembered by his 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride. He is also remembered dearly by his surviving brother Ken.
Lawrence was a faithful Jehovah’s Witness throughout his life, finding great joy and strength in his faith. No matter the trials or hardships he faced, Lawrence’s faith never wavered, serving as a guiding light and source of comfort for him and his loved ones. His unwavering devotion to his beliefs was an inspiration to all who knew him.

“I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”

Lawrence’s faith was based on the promise of the ressurection promise. This belief was a huge comfort over the years.
“The meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.”
Psalms 37:11
