He was born in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan on January 26, 1960 and raised on the family farm, along with his brothers, Les and Gary. After leaving high school, Keith worked at the family Dodge dealership and road construction until schizophrenia cut his employment years short at age 18. Keith was predeceased by his parents, Gladys and Mel, and is survived by brother Les, brother and sister-in-law Gary and Audrey, and nephews, Thomas and Jack.
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of Sask. Hospital, especially nurse and friend, Rod English, along with staff at Battlefords Union Hospital for Keith’s care. His group home care givers, Amanda Glessing and Jason Bossaer, and Elaine Kostiuk made his community integration possible and we thank them for that. His last years were his best years.
Private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Saskatchewan Hospital, Box 39 Stn Main, North Battleford, Sk, S9A 2X8.
