With a heavy heart, the family of John Lesmeister announce his passing on September 15, 2025 at Lac La Plonge, Sask at the age of 92 years.

John leaves behind his loving wife of 29 years, Joan; his children: daughter, Carole (Jerry), and sons: Rick (Barb), Tim (Darla) and step-children: Sylvia, Jackie (Jon) and John; his grandchildren: Adam (Ashley), Tamara, Jonathan (Joleen), Joleyne (Matt), Nikki, Ricky, Lindsay (Jesse), Jackie (Dallas), Kayla (Matt), Logan (Tara) Kyle, Jocelyn (Tyson) and numerous great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. John is also survived by his two sisters: Frances and Theresa.

John was predeceased by his parents: Nicholas and Margaret; wives: Audrey and Jean; sons: Bob and Jeff; brothers: Nick, Joe, Tony, Leonard, Edward, Peter; and sisters: Magdelina and Clara.

In keeping with John’s wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held in the Battlefords on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at The Battleford’s Wildlife Federation Building, North Battleford, SK at 2:00 PM and a Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 in Beauval, Sask at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church at 2:00 pm with Father Francis Reddy Mondeddu as Celebrant. Following the Funeral Mass John will be laid to rest at the Beauval Cemetery in Beauval, Saskatchewan.
