Mr. Glen Wappel

It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness the family of Glen Wappel announce his passing on July 11, 2026 near North Battleford, Saskatchewan at the age of 62 years old.
Left to treasure his memory and remember all that Glen was is his beloved family; sister, Joann Wappel (Wesley Metz) and her son, Steven Wappel and children, Emily and Jackson, her daughter, Tonya Wappel and son, Teegan Savoie. Glen is further survived by his special close family friend Marlene Beaudry. Glen will be forever remembered and treasured by so many close friends and acquaintances.
Glen was predeceased by his parents; father, John William Wappel and mother, Teresa Margaret Wappel (Delaire).
In keeping with Glen’s wishes, cremation will take place and he will be laid to rest with his parents in Battleford Cemetery at a later date.
Glen was so many things to so many people, His true passion for vehicles led him to be a big part of the car club community as well as his love of the open road led him to be involved with motorcycle clubs that created many lasting friendships and memories. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. Glen was one of a kind with an adventurous spirit and his appreciation for the simple moments in life.
A public viewing will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Eternal Memories Garden Chapel located at 1132 100th Street North Battleford, SK at 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at the Alex Dillabough Centre in Battleford, SK at 1:00 PM. All are welcome to attend either function.
