It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Geoff Thompson on November 12, 2024, at the age of 65. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Sharon Thompson. Geoff will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his brother Blake (Christine), sister Tracie, niece Katelyn, Aunt Candace (Brian), and many cousins.

Geoff was born in Lethbridge, AB and spent most of his youth growing up in Winnipeg, MB. Geoff’s work career took him to Vernon, BC to manage a Robinson store. He moved to Battleford, SK to do the same. Battleford was home to Geoff for over 40 years. He worked for the Town as a Volunteer Fire Fighter and Special Constable and then Deputy Fire Chief for 40 years before his retirement.  Geoff followed in his father’s footsteps and became a Master Mason of which he was extremely proud. Geoff had a big heart and great love for animals, especially the beloved cat fur babies he had through the years.

Blake and Tracie wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Geoff’s good friends Larry, Darryl, and Calvin, and the entire Battleford Fire Department for their kind support during a very difficult time. Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Eternal Memories Funeral Service and Crematorium – Larissa Wack Apprentice Funeral Director.
