Mr. Edgar A. Sargent Jr.

Edgar A Sargent Jr. passed away peacefully at home in Borden on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, where he was living with family, and now awaits the resurrection at the return of Christ. He was born April 7, 1933, in Waltham, Massachusetts. As a member of the Christadelphian faith, he embraced the promises to Abraham (Genesis 12). “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29).
He left his job as a Fire Alarm Sales Engineer with Simplex to relocate to Canada in 1978, to leave the rat race and give his family the experience of prairie living. Ed served in his community as the Secretary-Treasurer of the Village of Richard for about 10 years. In North Battleford he found satisfaction servicing his CashTel clients.
He is survived by his five children: David (Cheryl), Brenda (Wayne Osborne), Daniel (Wonda), Paul (Laurie) and Timothy (April), 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
All are welcome to attend his Celebration of Life on Tuesday, November 15th, 2022, at the Battleford Wildlife Center in North Battleford, commencing at 3 pm. He will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery beside Louise, his beloved wife of 64 years, who died January 3, 2022.
