With profound sadness, the family of Donnie L’Heureux-Eagle announce his passing on June 9, 2023 in Calgary, AB. Donnie was born on a cold February day at Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta, to Donald and Lisa.  Although he was small – he was mighty.  Over the years he was a self-taught guitar player and an amazing artist. He enjoyed playing video games and watching movies along with spending time with his family and friends.

He will be dearly missed by his mom, Lisa L’Heureux and stepfather, Brian Ross; siblings: Tipi Reine, Genevie, Serenity Sky, Hope, Alva J, Michael & Luca; grandparents: Gilbert (Marnie) & Darlene (Robert); he is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many others that loved him.

Donnie is predeceased by his dad, Donald Eagle II; kokum, Alva Mosquito; aunts: Delphine and Angela and his uncle Max.

Wake Service for Donnie will begin Friday, June 16, 2023 – 1:00 p.m. and Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 – 1:00 p.m. both services taking place from the Mosquito Band Hall, Mosquito First Nation, SK.
