It is with heavy hearts that the family of Miss. Rose Kahpeaysewat announce her passing on July 12, 2025 at the age of 45 years.

Rose will be remembered by her loving children: Gilbert, Tommy and Joaquin; sisters: Sheila (Henry), Ivy, Valerie, Janet (Gary), Lise (James), Alice Cook; brothers: William, John, Lavern, Martin and Jim.

She was predeceased by her parents, Jean Kahpeaysewat and Gilbert Cook; her baby, DJ; brothers: Arthur, Leon; sister, Irene; and special cousin, Arlene Mooswa.

A wake service began on Monday, July 14, 2025.

The funeral service for Rose will take place on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Moosomin Band Hall.
