Simon is survived by his family; Darlene Checkosis (Rodney), John Sapp Sr. (Adrian), Blair Sapp Sr. (Darlene), Noreen Saddleback, Dwayne Sapp Sr. (Judy), Melvin Sapp Jr., Lisa Sapp.  His special grandson Leslie Sapp, adopted daughter Cheryl Ogram, adopted gransdsons Henry Felix, A.J. Felix, Robert Dunt. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and relatives.

Simon was predeceased by his wife of 68 years Therese Sapp. Daughter Marie Delores Sapp.  Grandsons Terence Sapp, Daniel  Gordon.  Great grandson Baby Caylence.  His grandparents; Mr. & Mrs. George Sapp and Mr. & Mrs. Albert Soonias.  His parents Alexander & Agnes Sapp. Brothers Allen Sapp, John Albert Sapp, Henry Sapp, Peter Benson Sr, and infant brother Winston Sapp.  Sisters Julia Sapp, Virginia Sapp, and Stella Burns.
