ANDERSON, Linda Jane

Linda Anderson (nee Addy) passed peacefully away on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Battleford’s Union Hospital in North Battleford, SK.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Malcolm D.C. Anderson; daughters Kelly (Craig Lafferty) Anderson of Edmonton, AB, and Lindsay Kate Anderson of Battleford, SK; and brother Boyd (Deborah) Addy of Mandan, ND; as well as many other relatives and exceptional friends throughout Canada and around the world.

Linda will be remembered as a lively and energetic woman, a compassionate wife, mother, and community leader, who wore her heart on her sleeve. Linda was a selfless caregiver, not a caretaker, but a care giver- she gave, and gave again, always concerned with the well being of others. Regardless of the community where she lived Linda found opportunities to participate and improve the fabric from which it was woven. One of Linda’s greatest achievements was spearheading the Jasper Canada Day festivities. Her immense patriotic pride will be passed on to all of those who knew and loved her.

Linda was predeceased by her parents Katherine and B. Fred Addy, and nephew Michael Addy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30^th at 2pm at the Jasper United Church.
