It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness the family announces the passing of Leslie Turner in North Battleford, SK at the age of 74 years old.

Left to mourn his loss and treasure his memory is his children; son, Jim Bec and children Leah, Bailey, Autumn, Alexis and Michael; daughter, Tracy Jones and children, Jasmine (Billy) and Jordan; daughter, Linda Turner (Sean) and children, Naomi (Cody), Austin and Madison; daughter, Valerie Sommerfeld (Brenden) and child, Ayden. Leslie is also survived by great grandchildren, Asher, Millie and Nevi.

Surviving Leslie is his three sisters; Shirley (Larry) Leibel and children, Darren and Darcy (Erica- Chick); Gail (Gilbert) Rousseau and children, Kory (Aktham) and Rene (Alisha); Elaine Sabraw and children, Christine (Ashley) and Chelsie (Justin) as well as Leslie’s four brothers; Raymond’s wife Betty Turner and children Denise (Ron) and Mark (Angela); Gary (Orla) Turner and child, Dallas and Rick Turner’s daughter, Trish (James) Wallin and brother, David (Janet) McDonald. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, grand nieces and nephews, and close friends, Darwin Atcheynum, Dave Bull and Kenny Stewart.

Leslie was predeceased by his loving wife, Kathryn Turner; father, Hughie Turner; mother, Anne Turner; brothers, Raymond Turner, Rick Turner, brother-in-law, Dave Sabraw; grandparents, William and Emelia Saltmer and George and Eva Turner.

In keeping with Leslie’s wishes cremation has taken place and the family will be having a Friends and Family gathering later this summer.
