Leo Maurice Desjarlais, born on June 2, 1933 in Battleford, passed away on May 3, 2020 at age 86 in the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Ward of the Battleford’s District Care Centre. Leo had a career spanning 35 years working for SaskTel. In his retirement, he enjoyed many hours at the family cottage on Day’s Beach and at the golf course which became his unofficial second “career”.

Leo was predeceased by his wife Genevieve Ann Desjarlais, siblings Leona (+Mike), Velda (Lou), Leonard (Mary), and Danny (+Irene). Leo is survived by his sons Marvin and Murray (Gail), grandchildren Kimberly, Kristen (Rob), Eric (Risa), and Justin, great grandchildren Robyn and Leo, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Leo’s memory may be given to the Alzheimer’s Ward of the Battleford’s District Care Centre.
