Lawrence Trottier

July 31, 1932 – June 9, 2017
It is with deep sadness that we share news of the passing of Lawrence “Cowboy” Trottier at 84 years of age. He is predeceased by his wife Theresa Trotchie, his parents John Trottier and Mary Pritchard-Trottier, sisters Agnes and Pauline Trottier, and his niece Laura Villeneuve. Lawrence leaves to mourn his brother Norman, his children Lisa(Gord), Tammy(Thomas), Roxanne, Sherry, Terri(Francios) and Preston(Toni) and his only godchild, Rachelle. Lawrence also leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Lawrence was born in Willowfield and grew up in Spinny Hill. He spent many years living in Saskatoon, Ruthilda and surrounding areas. He spent his retirement in Rosetown and Zealandia.
Lawrence spent most of his early years as a farmer for Johnny Markland and Aubrey Woods. He later moved on to work for Evan Simpson in the late 80’s harvesting. He also spent 10 years off and on building fences with his brother Norman.
A special thank-you to the staff at Rose Villa in Rosetown, who cared for Lawrence before his passing.
Wake will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Ukrainian Slawa Center, 792 – 108th Street, North Battleford at 11 a.m.
Funeral will take place Friday, June 16, 2017 at Norte Dame Catholic Church at 2 p.m.
