Larry Philip Mugleston, late of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully at the Foothills Medical Centre on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the age of 71 years.It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to our beloved husband, father, grandfather and son, who passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Larry was a Corporal in the Royal Canadian Air Force for 10 years before starting a 25 year career with Sasktel. His love of life and adventure was second only to his love for his family and friends. He will be forever missed by his wife of 48 years, Susan, his daughter Tia(Colin) Butler and grandchildren Brett, Ty and Kealey, his son Shayn(Tara) Mugleston and granddaughter Chantel, his son Lannie(Andrea) Mugleston and grandchildren Hanna, Sadie, and Lucas, his mother Anne, brother Stan(Kris), Sister Vickey(Raymond), and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Larry was predeceased by his father Philip and his brother James. We would like to give a special thanks to Dr Libin and to the nurses and staff of Unit 71 at the Foothills Medical Centre. Those wishing to pay their respect may do so at a visitation held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4th Street N.W., Calgary (across from the Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, November 9th, 2017 at 7-9pm. A funeral mass will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4th Street N.W., Calgary on Friday, November 10th, 2017 at 2 pm. Internment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
