John J. Wiebe, 88 years of Glenbush, Saskatchewan, passed peacefully from life at 10:00 AM on November 8, 2024. He was surrounded by nurses and doctors.
John was born in Rabbit Lake, Saskatchewan on March 31, 1936. He was the eldest of six children born to John P. and Elizebeth Wiebe.
John and his wife Dora of 54 years raised three children, two sons and a daughter. He loved his family very much. John loved farming, especially cattle.
John is survived by his wife Dora.
Their oldest son Rodney (1st wife Candace) and their children Kelsey (Marta) of Winnipeg, MB, Taylor, and Sawyer (2nd wife Angela) of St. Brieux, SK, and their children Jo, Sam, Celeb, Levi, Hunter and Ivory.
Their daughter Bonnie of Glenbush, SK and her children Rio, Madison, Miranda, and Mason.
Their youngest son Douglas (Rochelle) of Medstead, SK and their daughters Cassandra (Warren) Beatch of Martensville, SK, Erica (Bryce) Olson of Spiritwood, SK. and their children Link and Anna.
Sisters- Helen Rackow of Lillooet, B.C., Betty (Glen) Kiser of Virgina, USA. Brothers- Peter of Medstead, SK, Ben (Betty) of Vegreville, AB, also many nieces and nephews and family.
John was predeceased by his parents John P. and Elizabeth Wiebe, his sister Anne Penner, his brothers-in-law, Frank Penner and Stuart Rackow, his sisters-in-law Betty Wiebe and Bernice Wiebe.
A Funeral Service to Celebrate the life of John Wiebe will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday November 14, 2024, at the Hoffnungsfelder/Fields of Hope Mennonite Church, Glenbush, SK with Rev. Don Unger officiating. Interment will follow in the Hoffnungsfelder/Fields of Hope Mennonite Cemetery.
