It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jerald John Clark (Jerry), born August 17, 1935, in Shellbrook Saskatchewan. He passed away peacefully with family at his side on May 21, 2026, at Parkland Integrated Health Centre Long Term Care Facility in Shellbrook, SK, at the age of 90.

Jerry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a friend to many… Whether he was casting a line out on the water, spending a day on the golf course, curling, bowling or out dancing, he approached every passion with his whole heart. He will be remembered for his kind spirit and gentle strength and a quiet sense of humour that would catch us by surprise and leave everyone laughing.

He is survived by his loving wife Marion, who was his partner in his latter life and best friend for 28 years. They shared many happy memories together. Madeline Clark was his predeceased former spouse with whom he shared 34 years together and remained lifelong friends. They had 4 daughters together. Jerry was an incredibly proud father to his four girls, Debbie, Karen, Brenda and Karla. Jerry also gained two more wonderful stepdaughters, Bev and Brenda through his second marriage. Jerry’s many grandchildren and great grandchildren where his greatest pride. Jerry is survived by his older brother Cecil Clark. Jerry was predeceased by his parents, John Mathew Clark (born in Scotland) and Ina (Dalgleish) Clark.

To his family and friends, he leaves behind beautiful memories, and a reminder to always appreciate the simple joys in life.

Jerry will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of his life will be held for all those who knew and loved Jerry, Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 10:00 am in the Great Room at the Parkland Integrated Health Centre Long Term Care Facility attached to the Shellbrook Hospital. Interment will follow at the Shellbrook Cemetery.

In lieu of tributes, memorial donations may be made in memory of Jerald to the Shellbrook and Districts Health Services Foundation – Recreation Dept. (Box 33 Shellbrook, SK S0J 2E0).
