The family of Jeanne D’Arc Marie Claire Bernier are heartbroken to announce her passing on Wednesday, October 25th 2017 at the age of 86 years.

Jeanne will forever be remembered by her loving family: son Henri Bernier, his wife Sharon; daughter Faye Desmarais, her husband Prosper, their children Rene (Renee), Arcade (Kim) – daughters Drew and Olivia, Daniel (Rachel), Chantel (Matt) – children Rogan, Valerie and Anneliese; and son Blaire Bernier, his wife Denise, their children Ashton (Shayna) and Chad (Sara) – son Everett; sisters Juliette Aikman, Alice Bernier and Bernadette Wine (Finn); brother Gerard Lessard (Gail); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Jeanne is predeceased by her darling husband Romeo Bernier; children Marie and Michael; and her parents Hector and Irene Lessard.

A prayer service for Jeanne will be held on Monday, October 30th, 2017 at 7:00 pm from the Chapel of Sallows & McDonald-Wilson & Zehner Funeral Home, 1271 103rd Street, North Battleford, with refreshments to follow.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Vitals Roman Catholic Church in Battleford on Tuesday, October 31st at 10:30 am with Father Roque Concepcion as Celebrant. Lunch will follow the service in the St. Vital Hall. A private family interment will follow the lunch.

Memorial donations in honor of Jeanne made be made out to the Canadian Mental Health Association Battleford’s Branch, 1011 103 St, North Battleford, SK S9A 1K3.
