Obit of the late John “Jack” Andrew Boechler

Jack was born on December 25^th, 1942, in Prince Albert to Andrew & Margaret Boechler.

Jack attended school in Saskatoon, Shellbrook, & Spiritwood. Upon finishing school, he joined the army which gave him the opportunity to see various parts of Canada. Upon completion of his service to the Army he had various forms of employment in Ontario.

Upon his return to Saskatchewan, he was employed as a mechanic at the Avalon Esso in Saskatoon. This is where he met his wife, Carol Booth. They were married in Saskatoon, March 9^th, 1968, and returned to Spiritwood. Jack was employed as a mechanic at Martodam Motors, then he gained a job in his long career as a salesman, he left Martodam Motors to sell his beloved GM at the Trading Post.

He and Carol raised 4 children in Spiritwood, Daphne in 1968, Vince in 1969, Vicki in 1972, and Nola in 1973. Jack spent many years in politics including the Town & RM Councilor and served 9 years as Mayor. Jack was very involved with the Legion and Alcoholics Anonymous.

Jack enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandchildren & great grandchildren. Jack passed away March 25^th, 2023, in North Battleford at the age of 80 years. He is survived by Carol his wife of 55 years, his children Daphne (Keith), Vince (Christine), Vicki (Jamie) & Nola. He is predeceased by his parents Andy & Marg Boechler, Brothers Les & Mark, sisters in law Marlene Boechler & Shirley (Booth) Johnston. Parents in law Herb & Julia Booth.

Memorial Service will be held in the Spiritwood Civic Center, Thursday April 6^th, 2023, at 2pm. with Delores Beaulac officiating.

Interment will take place at a later date.
