With sadness we announce the passing of Irene Katcheech on August 15th, 2017.

Irene is lovingly survived by her partner Gary Moccasin; daughter Shiela Katcheech; Sisters Geraldine Katcheech (Smokey) with their children Hilda, Deanna, Farrah and Jesse; Inez Katcheech and Brother Danny Katcheech and his children Peggy, Jeffery, Storm, and Lacey; As well as Irene’s Step Children Gary Allan Moccasin, Melissa Moccasin (Terry), Kelly Stick and Trina Stick. Grandchildren Sharla Katcheech, Brett Littlewolfe,  Shanelle Littlewolfe, Shaneen Littlewolfe. Irene’s great grandchildren; Mitchell White, Michael White, Shaylee White and Brayelle Littlewolfe.; A special Niece Velma Night (Rod Gopher) and their children Aaron, Devan, Kristen, and Janel. Along with numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is predeceased by her parents George and Jean Ann; Brothers Georgie, Raymond and Sister Marie; as well as numerous other relatives

Funeral service is held on Friday August 18th 2017 ~ 11:00 am from the Saulteaux Community Band Hall in Saulteaux First Nation. Interment followed at the Saulteaux cemetery.
