It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved husband George W Pipp. Who left us peacefully on Dec 5th at the age of 85. George was born Dec 14 1938 to Beatrice (Wearing) Pipp & John Pipp in North Battleford. George was predeceased by his parents. George is survived by his loving wife Betty, his sister Joanne & Morris Pashkowich & family. In laws Deanna & George Roberge & family, Richard & Julie Bartko & Family, Dale Bartko & family as well as his relatives in Austria.
George developed a deep connection to the Family Farm at an early age. He poured his heart & soul into the fields, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to hard work. George believed in the value of nurturing both crops and relationships where his legacy will forever be rooted in the love he cultivated among family and friends. Beyond the farm George was a devoted husband, sibling, uncle and friend. He also devoted his time to watching his Calgary Flames and has a passion for curling.
As we mourn the loss of George, we also celebrate a life well lived, a life dedicated to family, hard work and his commitment to the Family Farm. George will be deeply missed but will forever remain in our hearts and memories. We would like to take a moment to share out of respect for George’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service held. George expressed his desire for simplicity and a preference for a more private remembrance. We believe it is important to honor his wishes and celebrate his life in a way that reflects his values and beliefs. At this time I’d like to thank the Doctors, Nurses & staff at Battlefords Union Hospital. Thank you for your support and understanding during this time.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sallows & Mcdonald Wilson & Zehner Funeral Home.
