Doreen Lily Brinkhurst (nee Nelson) Jan.30,1933 – Dec.18,2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Doreen Lily Brinkhurst announce her passing on Dec.18,2020 at the age of 87 years.  She passed away peacefully in her sleep at Battlefords Union Hospital with family at her side.

Doreen leaves to cherish her memory her children:

Sandra (Dan) Knowles; grandson Jeff (Shawna) Knowles, great grandchildren Carter and Cody; grandson Cory (Justine) Knowles, great granddaughter Kennedy; granddaughter Christie (Dustin) Wolf

Heather (James) Guthrie; granddaughter Amanda Guthrie; granddaughter Megan Guthrie, great grandson Jaxon Guthrie

Hugh (Heidi) Brinkhurst; grandsons Dawson and Conner Brinkhurst

Doreen is survived by her sister Olive Jones, brother-in-law Ed Smith,  brother-in-law Herb Brinkhurst, and sisters-in-law Margaret Hayter, Dee Brinkhurst and Pearl Brinkhurst, numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

Doreen was predeceased by her husband Raymond Brinkhurst and her son Douglas Brinkhurst.

Her family would like to thank all the staff at Harwood Manor who cared for Doreen in the last few years.

Due to Covid-19, a memorial service for Doreen will be planned for the spring or summer of 2021.
