Darrell leaves to mourn his loving wife, Lisa Thunderblanket-Osecap, his son Cody Benson and daughter Chantel LaPlante, mother Josephine Osecap, brother Noel, Gary (Amelia), Bruce and Keith, sister Roberta Osecap, uncles Tommy (Donna) Lightfoot and Rod Lightfoot, aunties Freda, Bernadette SOTR, Philma, Barbara, Shirley, Yvonne, Eliza Starblanket, great uncles Edgar (Louise) & Peter (Shawna) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Darrell was predeceased by his sister Judy Osecap, brothers Wesley, Wayne and Brian, aunties Lillian & Gladys Lightfoot, uncles Charlie, Lawrence & Ivan Lightfoot, grandparents John (Maggie) Lightfoot, great-grandparents George Lightfoot & Nancy Lightfoot, August Gladue & Mary Gladue, his father Paul Osecap.
