Courtney passed away at the Battlefords Union Hospital on Friday, March 30th at the age of 33 years.  Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, mother Susan Semaganis, partner in life Herman Chickeness, children Samara, Jaiven, Jason Jr, Serenity and Scarlett Rose, sisters Morningdawn, Tonishia and Crystal, brothers Shane and Talon as well as other family she considered sisters and brothers.  Courtney was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Wilfred Sr. and Agnes Semaganis, auntie Elaine Semaganis, cousin Nicole, uncle Brian and her son Frank.  Funeral service was held on Monday, April 2nd, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Poundmaker Veterans’ Hall at Poundmaker Cree Nation, SK.  Condolences may be made to the family at www.SallowsandMcDonald.com.  The family has placed their trust with Sallows & McDonald-Wilson & Zehner Funeral Home 306-445-2418.
