Carol Ann Julien

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ann Julien on Thursday, August 10, 2023. Carol was born in Detroit Michigan on December 18, 1939, and later moved to Canada and lived first in Edmonton, and later in Victoria where she married her second husband Gilles (J.J).

Later, Carol and J.J. moved to North Battleford and were very involved in the Battlefords Grace Community Church in Battleford as well as during the early days of the Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre (Food Bank).

J.J. passed away on August 13, 2012, and Carol and her dog “Peanut” continued to be a friend to many of her neighbours and others in the Battlefords, including her friends who drove the Handi-Bus.

A memorial service for Carol will be held on Sunday September 24^th at 11 AM at the Battlefords Grace Community Church (St. George’s Anglican Church) at 191 24^th St. Battleford.
