Public Meeting for Commercial Development at Jackfish Lake

The R.M. of Meota No. 468 has received an application for a commercial development which includes a marina and RV Sites, in an area northwest of Meota on Jackfish Lake. 

In order to consider this application, the R.M. is proposing to re-zone the area under consideration as a Mixed Use District. 

The public’s opinion is being sought in a Public Meeting on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Do Drop In at 365 Main Street in Meota. 

The R.M. will review submissions and public input and will consider the application at its September 6. 2018 Council Meeting.
