Battlefords Community Players Open House

Oct 2, 2017 | 8:20 AM

Come see what the community has helped to create.

Five years ago, Battlefords Community Players bought a building, a home, a small performance space and over the past 5 years we have accomplished much to improve the space for our club and our audiences. With the help of many volunteers and the business community, this year we able to perform in our own space.

Everyone is invited to drop by to our Open House on October 5th between 5 and 8 pm at 102-26th Street in Battleford.

Join us, there will be a very short presentation at 7:00 and coffee, punch and tasty bits will be available throughout the open house.

Meet some of our members, check out our costume and hat room, see the workshop that was created or just relax and visit.

We thank everyone for their ongoing support of the 65 plus years of BCP history.

Tickets for our 2017-2018 season are available.

See you at the Theatre!

Our next production will be Oct 17, 19, 20, 21, 2017.
The Adventures of the Black Girl in Her Search for God – by Lisa Codrington  (Dramatic Comedy)
Adapted from a short story by Bernard Shaw
This play is an adaptation of/response to Bernard Shaw’s allegory of The Adventures of a Black Girl in Her Search for God. It includes text from Shaw’s allegory, its preface, the King James version of the Bible, a tiny bit from Shaw’s Back to Methuselah, a teeny-tiny bit from Shakespeare’s Hamlet and a bunch of stuff made up by the author.
