Knitters donate hundreds of blankets to Christmas hamper program

Not only will recipients of Christmas hampers from the Battlefords District Food & Resource Centre have full stomachs this holiday season, they will have warm hearts and warm hands.

Coroner's inquest into death of Brydon Whitstone begins Monday

The coroner's inquest into the death of Brydon Whitstone begins Monday at Court of Queen's Bench in Battleford.

The first of five days set aside for the inquest will begin at 10 a.m. The remaining start times will be determined by presiding coroner Robert Kennedy.

North Battleford hires former Prince Albert finance director

The City of North Battleford has hired a new finance director who has experience working in various roles across the province.

Steve Brown replaces Amarjit Mahil, who stepped down this summer to take a job with the University of Saskatchewan.
