Has your carbon monoxide detector been behaving erratically over the last couple of days?

You may have a blocked vent.

Drifting and blowing snow can potentially block your home's heating ventilation system which could cause a build-up of carbon monoxide in your home.

Warm weather stalls ice development

Anglers are eager to head out and start the ice fishing season, but warm temperatures have kept ice depths dangerously thin.

Communications Director for Parkland Ambulance, Lyle Karasiuk said early reports have indicated it’s going to take more time for the ice to be safe enough.
