Locals have mixed feelings on federal pipeline purchase

Yesterday’s announcement by Finance Minister Bill Morneau that the Liberal government intends to purchase the Trans Mountain pipeline project from Kinder Morgan for $4.5 billion is generating mixed reactions.

RCMP warn leaving pets in hot cars is a crime

Mounties from the local detachment hope residents don't leave their pets in their vehicles this year as temperatures start to rise over 30 Celsius.

With the temperatures hovering near 30°C it may be difficult for some to even think about curling, but that's not the case at the Twin Rivers Curling Club in North Battleford.

The Town of Battleford has made a huge investment in local healthcare with a donation to the New Beginnings Fundraising Campaign for the new Saskatchewan Hospital in North Battleford.
