Healing through hockey, Broncos to retake the ice tonight vs. Hawks

The Humboldt Broncos have held several events at the Elgar Petersen Arena. They held their vigil just moments after the team’s April 6 crash. They welcomed Saskatoon’s Chandler Stephenson to the rink to bring the Stanley Cup he won with the Washington Capitals.

'We still have a job to do tomorrow': Broncos leaders on first game after crash

Nobody would blame Brayden Camrud if he asked for a helping hand this year as the night of the Broncos bus crash, and the pain of losing teammates, coaches and staff remain fresh.

Prairie Central shines in speed skating

The Prairie Central district was downright dominant at the speed skating events for the Saskatchewan Winter Games. Of the 10 speed skating events held at the Battleford Arena Monday to Wednesday, Prairie Central teamed up for six golds and 12 total medals.
