Kindergarten student dies in tragedy near Dundonald School

A five-year-old student at École Dundonald School has died after being found in a nearby pond.

On the first Monday of the new school year, Saskatoon police officers were called to help find a boy who couldn’t be located during morning recess around 10:50 a.m.

Strong caucus support for Moe in Sask. Party leadership race

A former cabinet minister is seeing a strong show of caucus support as he steps into the race for Saskatchewan Party leadership.

Rosthern-Shellbrook MLA Scott Moe made the official announcement in Saskatoon Friday, flanked by more than 20 MLAs and his family.

Provincial Justice Minister Gord Wyant will be leaving his current post to pursue the Saskatchewan Party’s top job.

Wyant made the announcement Friday morning at a restaurant in Saskatoon.
