Man charged in connection to North Battleford Amber Alert

Charges are being laid following Sunday’s Amber Alert in North Battleford.

Johnathan Ryann Gunville, 19, was arrested Friday after authorities went through hundreds of hours of surveillance footage from over 200 businesses.

RCMP search for missing boy amid sudden death investigation

An investigation into a woman’s death in Fort Qu’Appelle has turned into a search for a missing seven-year-old.

Tamaine Geldenhuys, 47, was found dead on the beach near Fort Campground Saturday afternoon. RCMP said she’s from the Fort Qu’Appelle area.

Family of 5, 71-year-old woman killed in crash near Elrose

RCMP have confirmed a 71-year-old woman and a family of five were killed in a head-on crash Friday night on Highway 4 near Elrose.

Mounties responded to the call about two SUVs colliding around 4:35 p.m. When officers arrived, both vehicles were engulfed in flames.

Heavy rain causes flooding in Swift Current

Parts of Swift Current are under water after receiving heavy rain Saturday afternoon.

According to the Swift Current Booster, basements are flooded.

Southwest Saskatchewan was under a weather advisory for much of Saturday, but the amount of rain that fell came as a surprise.
