Gunshot injury leads police to home full of firearms
Mounties seized a significant amount of firearms after executing a search warrant over the weekend.
On Saturday, Nov. 24 around 3:30 a.m., members were called to the Battlefords Union Hospital after a patient arrived with a gun shot wound.
The 38-year-old man gave police a fake name and a fabricated story to his injury. Police say he was uncooperative.
Following an investigation, police searched a home on the 1100 block of 107 Street where guns and ammunition was located.
