The holiday season would not be complete without snow covered homes, trees, windows, lawns and porches dressed elegantly with the soft warm glow of lights and decorations.
And whether you channel Clark Griswald, opt for a more simple or modern approach to your holiday hues or even aim to rival the decor of Rockefeller Centre, why not show it off?
The City of North Battleford has partnered with 1050 CJNB and the Jim Pattison Broadcast Group to host a Twinkle Tour this holiday season. Residents are encouraged to register their hard work online here by Thurs., Dec. 13.
Hosted by Mayor Ryan Bater and Grant Schutte from 1050 CJNB on Tues., Dec. 18, the Twinkle Tour will begin at the Civic Centre at 6 p.m. and weave a parade of participants through the streets while broadcasting live on 1050 CJNB. Everyone is welcome to join the tour or tune in.
Not only this, each registrant in the Twinkle Tour will be entered into a draw to win six tickets to any Battlefords North Stars 2018-2019 regular season home games.
Additionally, Ryan and Grant will select one entry to earn the title of Brilliance of North Battleford, who will receive a one hour Credit Union CUplex party package. Winners can host up to 36 people at the NationsWEST Field House for turf or court usage or at the Battlefords Co-op Aquatic Centre. It includes chips and 48 hot dogs.
The Magic of Light winner, also judged by Ryan and Grant, will receive a Dress Rehearsal package from Magic Lantern Theatres, which includes a 10 person tour of the new theatre plus a private showing before it opens to the public.
