Sask. Hospital Foundation, M.L. Northern Pioneers benefit from Smile Cookie Day

A charity in North Battleford and Meadow Lake are benefiting from Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Day.
Canadians helped raise a record of almost $7.8 million for this year’s campaign.
In North Battleford, the Saskatchewan Hospital Foundation will receive $8,195, while the Meadow Lake Northern Pioneers will receive $2,060.
In 1996, the Smile Cookie campaign started as a way to help raise funds for the Hamilton Children’s Hospital in Ontario. In the 22 years since, the program has grown to become a cross‑Canada fundraising event and provides much-needed support to over 500 Canadian charities and community programs.
