Last chance to get early bird tickets for Stars

Jun 28, 2018 | 10:21 AM

If you’re planning on getting season tickets for the North Stars for this upcoming season, now is the time to buy.

The early bird ticket prices are set to end on July 1, but there is still time to pick up the tickets at a discounted rate. North Stars Marketing and Office Manage Caitlyn Gray said she really hopes people take advantage of the lower pricing.

“We’re encouraging people to get their tickets early,” Gray said. “Most people have in mind that they’re already going to get season tickets, so in getting them early they’re going to save some money. This is the last time to purchase them before they go up again.”

As for their ticket sales so far, heading into the 2018-19 season, Gray said they’ve seen many of the season ticket holders come in and renew so far.

“It’s been really good so far,” Gray said. “Been lots of familiar names and faces coming down and picking their tickets up. Long time ticket holders that have renewed have come back in, but there are still a lot that haven’t come in, but hopefully this last week people will come in and renew.”

Gray said this year they’ve been on par with past seasons ticket sales. Right now, prices are $295 for adults, $175 for students, $50 for children and $310 for flex packs. If customers can’t come in, Gray says there are still ways they can get their tickets.

“They can call me on my office phone, on NorthStars.ca, unless they’re looking for the flex pack,” Gray said. “Which they have to come get from me during my office hours.”

Office hours for the North Stars are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
