Four men are in custody following a vehicle stop in North Battleford early Thursday morning which saw police recover two firearms and seize cash and a small quantity of drugs.

The arrests happened in the 1100-block of 101st St. in North Battleford as a result of the enhanced targeted enforcement initiatives conducted by the Battleford RCMP in conjunction with the City of North Battleford.

In a statement, Battlefords RCMP Sgt. Neil Tremblay said all four men will remain in custody, including a 21-year-old man from Saskatoon who was wanted for being unlawfully at large.

Tremblay added RCMP are continuing their investigation and a decision on charges will be made later today.
