Jackfish Lodge golf course opens this weekend

The sudden turn in weather continues to bring positive news for golfers.

After the North Battleford Golf and Country Club said earlier this week it will open this weekend, Jackfish Lodge said its golf course will also open Saturday.

“Just open the golf course for now,” Jackfish Lodge General Manager and Director of Golf Kyle Kellgren said. “The hotel, golf course and everything will open up all together on May 3.”

All tees, greens and golf carts will be running.

“We actually came through winter the best we have in a long time. Better than expected,” Kellgren said. “We’re very happy. It came through very well.”
