Feb 12, 2018 | 10:00 AM

Battlefords RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating suspects after a break-and-enter Sunday night in North Battleford.

RCMP said three men with bandanas covering their faces entered the residence on 109th St. armed with bear mace and firearms. The suspects discharged the bear spray and a firearm inside the residence before fleeing the scene. None of the occupants received any injuries, and the RCMP Police Dog Section was deployed.

Two of the male suspects were described as short and one was described as being taller.  Police said they have identified a person of interest in this matter and are actively seeking them to further the investigation.

RCMP said this incident was between individuals who knew one another, and noted it was not a random act. The investigation is ongoing.
