Stabbing under investigation

Battleford’s RCMP is investigating a stabbing that left one man injured yesterday evening.

At roughly 9:12 p.m. on Jan. 31, police were dispatched to a domestic fight at a residence on 103 St. in North Battleford. When officers arrived they located five people in the home.

A 28-year-old man was found on the floor of the home suffering from a stab wound to his leg. Investigators determined a 43-year-old female resident stabbed the man. She was arrested and the investigation remains ongoing.

EMS transported the man to the hospital. He is said to have non life-threatening injuries.
