La Ronge RCMP officers are appealing to the public for more information after an alleged attempted abduction last month.

On Sept. 26 around 6:20 a.m., police received a report of a 29-year-old woman being grabbed by two people in a truck.

The incident occurred on the 1600 block of Bedford Dr. A witness pulled her away and the truck left the area.

Police say there are no descriptions of the two individuals inside the truck, which is described as a 1990s model light blue, two-door vehicle. The truck had a rack or cage over its back window.

To date, the investigation has not brought forward further descriptions or information. Officers are appealing to those who may have any information to come forward.

If you have any further descriptions, you are urged to contact the detachment at 306-425-6730. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
