On each and every Battlefords North Stars broadcast this season on CJNB/CJNS, Nathan Kanter will be speaking with either a current North Star player or a North Star alumnus to dig a little deeper into their off-ice interests and, in the case of alumni, see what they’ve been up to since their playing days.
In the third installment, we learn a little more about first-year defenceman Matthew Fletcher, who was acquired by the North Stars from Humboldt in a deal that sent Brett Horn to the Broncos at last season’s January trade deadline.
He shares the experience of playing in his first SJHL game two years ago, his favourite TV show, and his favourite cereal, among other interesting facts.
