Maidstone RCMP requesting public assistance to solve vehicle thefts

Maidstone RCMP were busy on July 28 and 29, handling 52 calls for service. Nine of the calls were related to break and enters, and theft of vehicles according to a detachment media release.

The Maidstone RCMP is asking for the public’s help to find these vehicles:

  • 1984 White Toyota Pickup – No Plate – Stolen July 28 from near Waseca, Sask. – Farm Vehicle
  • 2004 Brown Ford F350 – Saskatchewan plate #624EGS – Stolen July 28 near Hillmond, Sask., Farm vehicle with several dents and wear.
  • 2002 Dark Blue Dodge 2500 – Saskatchewan plate #214FRS – Stolen July 28 near Alcruve, Alta. – Paving truck unit with red tool box, welding torches and tools
  • 2004 White GMC Sierra 2500 – Alberta plate #BTD9077 – Stolen July 28 near Lloydminster, Sask.
  • 2013 Red Chrysler 200 – Saskatchewan plate #076KHP – Stolen from near Lloydminster, Sask.

Police are also looking for an individual suspected of being involved in a break and enter on July 30. Their photo is attached to this news story. 

Two stolen trucks were also recovered by Maidstone RCMP in the same timeframe. A female has been arrested and charge as a result.

Since January 1, 2017, the Maidstone RCMP has responded to 62 reports of stolen vehicles. Officers are stressing the importance of making sure members of the public don’t leave keys or other valuables in their vehicles.

When making a report on suspicious activity, police ask you provide specific details such as the colour of the vehicle, direction of travel, description of suspicious persons and license plates.
