Guy Boucher: ‘We were off with everything’ after Senators lose to Rangers 4-1
NEW YORK — Guy Boucher spoke calmly. His message, though, was anything but serene.
“We were off with everything,” Boucher said after the Ottawa Senators’ 4-1 loss to the New York Rangers on Tuesday night in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference semifinal.
“There’s nothing for us to take from this game,” Boucher said. “We flush all of it and move on to the next game.”
Mats Zuccarello, Michael Grabner, Rick Nash and Oscar Lindberg scored for New York, which still trails the best-of-seven series 2-1 with Game 4 set for Thursday night at Madison Square Garden. Henrik Lundqvist made 26 saves for the win.
