Two homeless following overnight fire in the R.M.

An early morning fire at a residence North of the Battlefords has left two people homeless.

Members of the North Battleford Fire Department along with emergency crews responded to the fire approximately 28 km North of North Battleford.

When the fire crews arrived, the house was fully engulfed. The two people who were living in the property were not home at the time of the fire. There were no injuries.

Captain Brian Marchewka said the house is a total loss and further details will be made available when the investigation concludes.
