Drunk drivers busted by Battlefords RCMP

On the cusp of RCMP National Impaired Driving Enforcement Day, several drivers in the Battlefords were caught under the influence.

Three charges were laid between 11:50 p.m. Friday Dec. 2 and roughly 3 a.m. Saturday Dec. 3.

Between Friday and Saturday morning Battlefords RCMP responded to 69 total calls, including several thefts, an assault, a break and enter, a report of a person breaking windows and a hit and run.
