RCMP respond to nearly 50 incidents on Saturday

It’s been a busy long weekend for Battlefords RCMP. 

In a 24-hour period from Saturday, Nov. 12 to Sunday, Nov. 13, police responded to roughly 50 incidents. 

They responded to the attempted theft of a vehicle on Thompson Crescent in North Battleford around 8:30 a.m. The male suspect was described as 6’0″ with a heavier build and carrying a blanket. 

There were reports near 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning of youth checking vehicles in the 2100 block of 101 St. Crescent. It’s believed to be related to three youths who were arrested overnight for similar offences.
