A request for assistance in a missing person case and charges in an alleged impaired driving hit-and-run highlighted the Battlefords RCMP daily report for the beginning of the weekend.

Battleford RCMP responded to 54 calls for service from 6 a.m. Friday Sept. 23 to 6 a.m. Saturday Sept. 24.

A missing woman from Regina may be in the Battlefords area. Judy Lynn Campbell, 65, has not been seen since Wednesday and her last known location is in the Delmas area. Campbell drives a brown late model Subaru Crosstrek. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

On Saturday, Sept. 24 at 2:33 a.m., police received a complaint of hit-and-run. The suspected vehicle was located and it was discovered the driver was impaired. Charges of driving while impaired and failing to remain at the scene of an accident are pending against a 22 year-old North Battleford man.
