UPDATE: Green Lake, Sask incident over, 3 in custody

UPDATE: Three people have been taken into custody and another remains at large after an incident in Green Lake, Sask. 

RCMP have not clarified what the incident was, but said it was firearm related. 

The emergency response team has backed off and Highway 55 has reopened.

The investigation is ongoing.




Green Lake RCMP responded to a situation in Green Lake, Saskatchewan today, Aug. 6 which town residents said was a standoff.



RCMP said Green Lake would not be evacuated, but asked residents to avoid the 100 block of Mill St. in town. 

Highway 55 was blocked during the incident.
